These terms explain how you may use InSpySEO.com and our free website analysis tool. Please read them carefully before you use the site.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using InSpySEO (the website and any related services), you confirm that you accept these terms and that you agree to follow them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site and the tool immediately.

2. Description of the service

InSpySEO provides a free website analysis and SEO audit tool that generates automated reports based on information available from the URL you submit. The service is provided "as is" and for informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for your own judgment or for advice from a qualified professional.

What we do not promise

  • We do not guarantee that the tool will be available at all times or free from errors.
  • We do not guarantee that any report will be complete, error-free, or suitable for your situation.
  • We are not endorsed by, or affiliated with, Google or any other search engine unless we state otherwise.

3. No account required

You do not need to register or create an account to use the core audit tool as we offer it on the site. We do not operate a mandatory login for that experience and we do not collect personal login credentials (such as usernames and passwords) for InSpySEO because no such account is required.

If we contact you (for example if you email us), we will handle any personal data in line with our privacy notice on the site. Please read privacy.php for how personal data may be processed where applicable.

4. Intellectual property

The InSpySEO name, branding, website content, visual materials, and the software and systems that power the tool are owned by InSpySEO / Andy Black (or our licensors) and are protected by intellectual property laws.

What you may do

  • You may use reports you generate for your own personal use or for internal business use within the organisation you work for.
  • You may share excerpts or summaries internally where that is reasonable for those purposes.

What you may not do without permission

  • You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the underlying software or proprietary logic of the tool in order to replicate or compete with InSpySEO.
  • You may not resell access to the tool, or offer a service that is substantially our service, repackaged as your own, without our written agreement.
  • You may not remove copyright or proprietary notices from materials we provide.

5. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use InSpySEO:

  • For any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes anyone else's rights.
  • To probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without authorisation.
  • To interfere with or disrupt the site or servers (including denial-of-service style attacks, or aggressive automated use that impairs performance).
  • To attempt unauthorised access to our systems, data, or networks.

We may suspend or block access where we reasonably believe these rules are being broken.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

SEO audits produced by InSpySEO rely on automated algorithms and publicly available or supplied inputs. We do not warrant or represent that any output is 100% accurate, complete, or up to date at all times. Search engines change frequently; measurements can vary; and automated checks can miss context that a human reviewer would see.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including any implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not allowed by law.

We are not responsible for changes in search engine rankings, traffic, revenue, reputation, or any business losses that may result from your reliance on the tool or its outputs. You use the information at your own risk and should verify important decisions independently.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InSpySEO and Andy Black shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or the tool, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

8. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the site, shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of InSpySEO after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms, so please check this page periodically. If you do not agree to the new terms, you should stop using the site.
